One of the goals of K-pop artists in the past was to enter the major music chart in the U.S. - the Billboards. There have been various attempts in which K-pop artists have debuted in the United States and released music in English.

Those artists truly paved the way for the future generation and have opened the doors for Korean artists to enter the major music charts in North America. Thanks to them, it is now the norm for various K-pop artists to be seen on the Billboard charts.

In 2022, there have been many K-pop artists on the Billboard 200.

This year, a handful of K-pop artists, including BTS, Stray Kids, BLACKPINK, TWICE, TXT, NCT 127, and more, have entered the top 20 of the Billboard 200.
