Fans of BTS's V are practicing influence by donating money for flood recovery in South Korea in his name.

Recently, V's fans donated 23.5 million KRW (~17,086.69 USD) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association for the residents in areas affected by the recent heavy rain. In hopes that the donation will help the victims of the typhoon recover, V's global fanbase, VUnion, along with fandoms in South Korea and overseas such as V INSIDE, KTH SUPPORTERS, Australia4Taehyung, BTS V CANADA, KTHContent, Naver_Taehyung, Taehgers PHILIPPINES, BTS V SPAIN, VStreamTeam, TAETAE VOTING JAPAN, and more have participated in the donation.

In fact, V's fans have been carrying out a series of donations in the past as well.

On September 8, fans worldwide participated in various good deeds to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the release of V's solo track "Stigma." 

Fans have donated to various volunteer groups, including 'Street Health Toronto,' a social service non-profit organization in Canada, 'Global Giving,' an international organization, 'Dream Nuturing,' a project related to children's education in Vietnam, 'United Help Ukraine'; and 'Sign Up Foundation,' a youth well-being related fund Fundraising.

Fans also delivered donations of love to various animal relief organizations and related organizations on the birthday of V's pet dog 'Yeontan.'

 Donations were delivered to about 20 organizations, including 'KSPCAKenya,' an animal welfare organization, 'FOUR PAWS International,' a global animal welfare organization, 'Saigon Time Dog and Cat Support Group,' a relief center for abandoned dogs and cats, 'The Lost Dogs' Home' working for animal rights and welfare, and 'DogsTrust,' a dog welfare charity.

V also recently received a commendation for the meritorious taxpayer and became a model for others as a star loved by the public. It is known that only three idols have been selected as model taxpayers in their 20s, including V, IU, and SHINee's Taemin.
