TWICE made headlines on May 17 when all nine members opened individual Instagram accounts, seven years after debuting. The members of the global girl group gained the most Instagram followers among K-pop accounts for the month of May.
Leading the list among most-followed female K-pop accounts is Momo (@momo), who gained 5,544,285 new followers in about two weeks. She is followed by fellow members Nayeon in second and Sana in third.
Among old accounts, Kim Taehyung (@thv) was the most-followed, gaining 2,436,106 new followers. He showed the highest growth among male K-pop accounts.
V also topped the list of most-followed K-pop soloists on Spotify with 463,610 new followers.
