According to media outlet reports on May 18, actress Kim Sae Ron (21) is currently under investigation for charges of driving under the influence (DUI).
Based on reports, Gangnam police received over 6 calls on the morning of May 18 that a vehicle was "driving unsteadily" on the road. Shortly after the police departed to investigate the calls, they discovered that a vehicle had rammed a roadside structure near Gangnam's Hakdong intersection at around 8 AM KST, and was attempting to flee the scene.
After stopping the vehicle, the police asked the vehicle's driver, Kim Sae Ron, to take a breathalyzer test. However, Kim Sae Ron wished to be transported to a hospital instead in order to undergo a blood test.
The police are still investigating the exact details of the crime.
