Actresses Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Ryeo Won, well-known as Son Dam Bi's best friends, were absent from Son Dam Bi's wedding.

On May 13 KST, Son Dam Bi officially married her husband and former Olympic speedskater Lee Kyu Hyuk. The wedding ceremony was held outside a hotel in Seoul, and many acquaintances were seen attending the ceremony as South Korea recently lifted their strict social distancing measures. In particular, it was revealed that while Gong Hyo Jin caught the bouquet at Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin's wedding, model Kang Seung Hyun caught the bouquet at Son Dam Bi's wedding. Further, actress So Yi Hyun and her husband/actor In Kyo Jin, comedian Park Na Rae, webtoon artist Kian84, actress Lim Soo Hyang, and more were present on this day. However, Jung Ryeo Won and Gong Hyo Jin, who showed off their close friendship with Son Dam Bi through social media and on MBC's 'I Live Alone', were absent at the wedding ceremony, raising curiosity. 

Son Dam Bi's agency told one exclusive media outlet, "As a result of checking with the security team, it has been confirmed that Gong Hyo Jin was unable to attend the wedding." Meanwhile, Son Dam Bi and Jung Ryeo Won were previously embroiled in a controversy where it was speculated that the two actresses had received gifts from a man called Mr. Kim, who was charged with fraud. Further, it was speculated that Son Dam Bi and Mr. Kim had been in a relationship, but Son Dam Bi had ended it after finding out he had also gifted Jung Ryeo Won with expensive gifts. Their agency H& Entertainment strongly denied these rumors. 

Meanwhile, Son Dam Bi and Lee Kyu Hyuk recently appeared on SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2', revealing their newly wed life.
