On April 7, IU's "eight," produced by and featuring BTS's SUGA, has gone double platinum on Gaon Music Chart.
Released in 2020, IU's "eight" garnered much attention as it was a collaboration project with BTS's SUGA, and the song was produced by the global idol.
With this, "eight" becomes the second song from 2020 after BTS's "Dynamite" to get the double-platinum certification by Gaon Music.
Meanwhile, a double-platinum certification is given to artists and tracks that have over 200,000,000 streams, according to Gaon Music.
