"High demand for tickets," TWICE adds another day to their encore concert at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles for their '4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ'

AKP STAFF

TWICE's agency JYP Entertainment announced on April 7th that it will hold an additional performance following the recent sell-out of the US encore concert of their '4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ.'

On May 14th, TWICE will be the first K-pop girl group to hold a 22,000-seat concert at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. As tickets for this performance sold out right after it opened for sale on the 6th, JYP Entertainment decided to hold an additional performance on May 15th.

This will be a special encore concert for the 4TH WORLD TOUR Ⅲ, where the group performed in five cities around the United States – Los Angeles (The Forum), Oakland (Oakland Arena), Fort Worth (Dickies Arena), Atlanta (State Farm Arena), and New York (UBS Arena) – including two shows in both Los Angeles and New York due to popular demand. All seven shows sold out just hours after on sale and made TWICE the first female K-pop group to sell out two North American arena tours.

In addition, TWICE is scheduled to hold the Tokyo Dome concert in Japan for two days on the 23rd and 24th of this month, but as the tickets were sold out at the same time as the opening sale, therefore, they added a performance on the 25th.

So let me get this clear… they had 5 US arena concerts that sold out immediately so they added 2 more which also sold out so they got a stadium encore concert which also sold out and now they have a SECOND stadium concert? That’s probably the most lucrative US tour by a girl group in history.
