News of the sudden marriage between veteran singer/DJ Koo Jun Yup and top Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu is continuing to stir up media outlets both in South Korea and Taiwan.

Soon after both Koo Jun Yup and Barbie Hsu confirmed their marriage announcement via SNS, some rumors claimed that Barbie Hsu was currently facing disagreement from her family because they were against the marriage.

The Singapore Straits Times explained that Barbie Hsu's mother refused to meet with singer-songwriter Koo Jun Yup after becoming her son-in-law. However, Barbie Hsu's mother changed her mind and decided to meet him. This was thanks to Barbie Hsu's younger sister, actress Dee Hsu.

On the 10th, the Singapore news media reported, "Barbie Hsu married Gu Jun Yeop without telling her mother, and her mother refused to meet him. But later she decided to meet after Koo Jun Yup after he finished quarantine."

Earlier, Barbie Hsu's mother said in an interview with Taiwanese media Apple Daily on the 9th, "If my daughter doesn't apologize as soon as possible, I won't meet Koo Jun Yup." She added, "My daughter didn't tell me about this (remarriage) first. She deceived me from the beginning to the end and did not respect me. I really didn't know."

However, the situation changed when Barbie Hsu's younger sister, Dee Hsu, intervened, and Koo Jun Yup was able to meet Barbie Hsu's mother and other family members.

The outlet also reported that Barbie Hsu rushed to marry Koo Jun Yup so that he could fly from South Korea and visit her in Taiwan. Koo Jun Yup is expected to stay in Taiwan for two months before the couple travels back to South Korea.

It's not a swastika, symbols like that are common in Asia and Europe, rotated any way, and it doesn't mean what you think it does
