Billlie's 2nd mini album enters iTunes charts in various countries after release

Billlie's latest comeback album has entered various iTunes charts around the world, shortly after its release.

On February 24 KST, Billlie's 2nd mini album 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one' achieved a #1 ranking on iTunes top album chart in the United States, Turkey, and Belgium. In addition, 'the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one' ranked in the top 10 in Russia, Germany, Japan, England, Canada, Thailand, Austria, and Brazil. The group's title track "GingaMingaYo (the strange world)" ranked #1 on iTune's singles charts in Turkey, Finland, and Egypt, drawing attention with their global popularity.

Meanwhile, Billlie's 2nd mini album also ranked #1 on Gaon's real-time relay album chart immediately after its release. Billlie have been receiving a lot of love from listeners for their unique, high quality music that touches upon reality that coexists with fantasy and mystery. Miyu lost an opportunity for success by not debuting with them. And instead, stubbornly tried to go solo and do City Pop when she doesn’t have the star power nor the fanbase to make it in her own.

But then again, she had zero interest in Korea and only went just to take advantage of some recognition she gained from PD48 for her own benefit. So, I guess it worked out on its own. I would rather like to see someone like Sakura and Juri, who always had genuine interest in Korea, make it big in Korea.

But congrats to Billlie for quickly making their presence known in just their 2nd album. More power and success to them!
