On January 28, Daily Sports reported that actor Kim Jung Hyun would be making his comeback. Reportedly, the actor will be appearing in an independent film and returning to his acting career. He is currently under discussion after receiving an offer to appear on the film 'Se²cret.'
The film 'Se²cret' is about an individual who is solving a murder mystery and uncovers some secrets of the past. It has been reported that Kim Jung Hyun had been offered the role of the detective who is chasing after the killer. The filming will begin this spring once the cast members confirm their appearance in the film.
It has been approximately ten months since Kim Jung Hyun had taken a break from his acting career. Last year, he had a conflict with his management agency over his contract with the company. Additionally, Kim Jung Hyun had been embroiled in a controversy with actress Seo Ye Ji as it was alleged that he was a victim of 'gaslighting.'
Therefore, the controversy over his attitude while filming the drama 'Time,' was also revisited as many speculated that his attitude was caused by Seo Ye Ji's gaslighting.
