Fans have been highly excited about this new development by the group, especially Jimin's fans. This is because he has been immensely popular on the platform even when all members of BTS only had one official account managed by the agency.

Jimin currently holds the record as the world's most mentioned individual on Instagram. His name tag #Jimin has the highest number of posts for any individual on the platform, and it has been this way for a long time now. As of December 6, the name tag surpassed 66 million posts and extended the record as the world's most mentioned individual in the history of the platform.

This popularity continued to be evident after Jimin opened his individual account. A long list of celebrities from all around the world immediately followed his account. There are actors, actresses, singers, rappers, illustrators, supermodels, TV hosts, influencers, authors, ballerinas, filmmakers, and journalists, to mention a few, all who followed Jimin's account within the first 24 hours.
