BTS' Jimin breaks social media with his long-haired photos on Weverse

BTS's main dancer and lead vocalist Jimin impresses fans yet again with his new look.

BTS' Jimin is an idol greatly adored by fans everywhere, and whenever he is not active on social media, there's always a concerted effort to try and reel him in. This is what happened on the 13th of December when fans trended several hashtags and keywords, including JIMIN OUR HAPPINESS, WE MISS YOU JIMIN, WE LOVE YOU JIMIN, JIMIN JIMIN #BTSJIMIN, #Jiminie, #WeLoveYouJimin, #방탄소년단지민 and Jimin Prince on Twitter in a bid to catch the attention of their beloved idol. JIMIN OUR HAPPINESS even took the top spot on worldwide trends.

During the PTD CONCERT in LA, BTS Jimin was seen with silver highlights in his hair. While many speculated that he had dyed his locks, it was later revealed by Pretty Bomi Salon that Jimin had actually gotten extensions. With the recent photographs on Weverse, this was confirmed, and despite Jimin calling his long-haired funny, many were even more impressed by his beauty and the ability to pull off any hairstyle perfectly.

Jimin's new look caught the attention of media outlets who reported about it. Several personalities like Japanese actress Megumi Han and Elite Daily Celebrity Editor Noelle Devoe, who are known for their love for Jimin, could also not resist his new avatar. BTS' Jhope, who commented on some of Jimin's posts, replied with "H.O.T" on one of Jimin's photos, a reference to K-POP's first idol group H.O.T. known for their long hair. Creative ARMYs were also not left behind as they came up with lots of incredible artworks inspired by his long hair. Some even likened him to Legolas from Lord of the rings or anime characters like Victor Nikiforov from Yuri!!! on Ice.

Korean netizens also took to platforms like the Qoo to discuss the unique look, and soon it became a trending topic, with one such post amassing 32K views and 1K comments. They reacted on his hair with: "Jimin's extension is amazing, there is nothing that doesn't suit him," "Jimin is prettier than girls," "Jimin's concert visual is top-notch," "Park Jimin explain why you're pretty." and more still praising Jimin and his duality of visuals.

On Twitter, Jimin dominated the trends as fans reacted to his new look and the process it took to get his hair done for the concert. Worldwide, he occupied several top trends, with PARK JIMIN #7, H.O.T #12, Jiminie #14, ジミンちゃん #16, OMG JIMIN #28 and JIMIN JIMIN. This happened in more than 22 countries, including South Korea, Uruguay, India, Japan, and Germany.
