
Actress Kang Seo Ha has passed away at the age of 31.
According to Sports Kyunghyang, Kang Seo Ha died on July 14 after battling a chronic illness, reportedly cancer. Her funeral wake has been set up in Room 8 of the funeral hall at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. The funeral will take place on July 16 at 7:40 a.m., and she will be laid to rest in Haman, South Gyeongsang Province.

A memorial post appeared on Kang Seo Ha’s Instagram account following the news of her passing. The post, which begins with the message “Unnie, I hope you are free from pain and only happy where you are. I miss you so, so much. You’ll forever be in my heart. I love you,” features a video montage of photos of the late actress. The comment section is also filled with messages from fans and friends mourning her loss.

Kang Seo Ha graduated from the Korea National University of Arts’ School of Drama and made her entertainment debut in 2012 through the music video for Brave Guys’ “Farther Away.” She later appeared in dramas such as JTBC’s 'Schoolgirl Detectives', 'Assembly', 'Through the Waves', 'Flowers of the Prison', 'First Love Again', and 'Heart Surgeons'.

Since 2023, she had been signed with Insight MCN, a content agency founded by musical production company Insight Entertainment and creator management firm Showtime Crew. Most recently, she appeared in the film 'Mangnaein', which is expected to be her final work.
