"Yours" by Jin of BTS has been released on Japanese platforms on November 24.
The release of it was a surprise for everyone and happened at 2 AM. However, in just 2 hours from it, "Yours" has already reached #1 on iTunes in Japan. Jin became the fastest K-pop soloist to do it. "Yours" is also the fastest Korean song to achieve this milestone.
Kim Seokjin becomes the fastest K-pop soloist in history to reach #1 on Japan iTunes (the 2nd biggest music market in the world) in just 2 hours! (and it got released at 2AM in Japan). And the fastest Korean song!
Another record that "Yours" has achieved in Japan even before the official release is becoming the first Korean song to top the Shazam chart for 11 days straight.
