ARMYs celebrate 5 years of BTS V's iconic phrase "I Purple You"

On November 13 KST, ARMYs celebrated 5 years of the iconic line "I Purple You" or "Borahae" coined by BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V.

Taehyung created the term on a whim at a BTS Muster concert on November 13, 2016, to represent his love for his fans. Since then, purple has become the representative color of BTS and ARMYs.

Taehyung's special message "I Purple You" has spread all over the world and gained global significance. His unique creativity and iconic influence have impacted top brands, renowned organizations & historical landmarks as they boast "I Purple You" and its hue to represent BTS and their fanbase.

Taehyung created "Borahae" without knowing how huge it would become, and he has constantly been highlighted by the media for his huge global impact on brands, organizations, and monumental buildings. 

Fans of Taehyung made meaningful donations to commemorate the special anniversary.
