TVXQ's Yunho's debut as a children's book writer sparked different responses from netizens, as Yunho had been investigated for violating social distancing guidelines and reportedly attempted to flee from the police when being caught at an adult entertainment business. 

According to the web variety series 'Check (it's a book pun- book is 'chaeg' in Korean, which sounds similar to 'check') This Out' on August 21st, TVXQ's books for children will be published on September 20th. Titled, "I was the youngest child" and "The friends I've met", the duo revealed they wanted to share how it feels to be a child again. 

However, member Yunho has faced backlash over publishing a children's book as he was previously investigated for violating social distancing guidelines visiting an adult entertainment business. 

Although SM Entertainment denied the reports stating that Yunho fled from the police, many netizens are voicing that he is an inappropriate role model for growing children. "Out of all the other things he could have done, he is publishing books for children-which is largely inappropriate.", "He does have a thick skin writing a children's book and talking about going back to childhood, etc."
