The first teaser clip for the web drama 'Blue Birthday' starring Red Velvet's Yeri and Pentagon's Hongseok released

Red Velvet's Yeri and Pentagon's Hongseok were previously in talks to star in an upcoming Playlist drama series, 'Blue Birthday'

Playlist, the creative powerhouse behind hit series like 'Love Playlist,' 'XX,' 'Twenty Twenty,' and more, will be returning with an exciting new series in 2021.

On June 10 at midnight KST, the trailer clip of this new upcoming drama was released.  'Blue Birthday' is a fantasy romance thriller centered around the photo of a friend who one day unexpectedly decided to take his own life.

The teaser begins with a phone showing text messages of 'happy birthday' popping up on the screen. The narration reveals, "On my 18th birthday, a day that was particularly clear, my first love left this world," stirring up the curiosity of viewers.

The web drama will air on NAVER TV on July 23 KST while it will be uploaded to YouTube starting August 6.
