Super Junior's Eunhyuk recently revealed the sad reason he decided to buy a luxurious home for his family.

In the new episode of 'Mr. House Husband Season 2' that aired on June 19, Eunhyuk revealed the luxury home that he purchased to live in with his family.

During the interview segment of the show, Eunhyuk stated, "I thought I should live with my family so I emptied my bank account and 'Flexed' on real estate."  However, the show also revealed the sad story behind the grand purchase of this luxury home.

Back in 2017, his mother was diagnosed with interstitial pneumonia, and she can only use 37% of her lungs. He explained, "The hospital suggested she receive a lung transplant. If she does get a lung transplant, then she can live at most seven years." 

He continued to say, "To be honest, the reason I decided to live with my family is that my mother's health depleted. The doctor didn't tell us a specific time table that she has but they always tell us to be prepared." Eunhyuk also revealed that when his mother's cough doesn't sound good, he would run downstairs to check if she's okay. After checking she's fine, only then, he would be able to go to sleep. 

His mother was also aware of how much her son cared and worried about her. She said in an interview, "Eunhyuk is the son that moves my heart a lot. I want to always be next to my son. So It's my joy and happiness to live with him." 

Eunhyuk added, "While I was promoting with Super Junior, I was separated from my parents for almost twenty years and I wasn't able to do much for them. So my goal is to be a strong support for this family."
