ENHYPEN has once again demonstrated its global appeal by securing a top position on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States.
According to a preview article published on June 15 on the official website of American music media outlet 'Billboard', ENHYPEN’s 6th mini album "DESIRE : UNLEASH" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart dated June 21.
With this, ENHYPEN has now placed five consecutive albums in the Billboard 200 Top 10, following "MANIFESTO : DAY 1", "DARK BLOOD", "ORANGE BLOOD", and "ROMANCE : UNTOLD". The group has charted a total of eight times on Billboard, showcasing steady and impressive growth.
"DESIRE : UNLEASH" sold over 2.14 million copies in its first week, marking the second-highest first-week sales for a K-pop album released this year. The album also swept Korea’s major music charts as well as Japan’s Oricon charts, topping the Weekly Combined Album Ranking, Weekly Album Ranking, and Weekly Digital Album Ranking. It also dominated Billboard Japan’s Top Album Sales, Hot Albums, and Download Albums charts.
ENHYPEN continued its momentum on music shows as well. On the June 15 episode of SBS’s 'Inkigayo', the group took first place with their title track “Bad Desire (With or Without You),” achieving their third music show win with the song.
“This is our first win on Inkigayo,” they shared. “We’re so thankful to our fans, ENGENE, who always support us. We’ll continue to grow and show even better sides of ourselves.”
