On March 11, WayV's Label V issued the following statement via the group's official SNS platforms, confirming that the group will partially promote their 3rd mini album 'Kick Back' as 5-members.

Back on February 26, WayV members Winwin and Lucas were spotted at Incheon International Airport, departing for Beijing. Media outlets reported that the two idols were heading to China for "individual schedules". After safely arriving in Beijing, Winwin and Lucas updated fans by confirming that they were observing the 2-week, self-quarantine guideline, in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic. 

Meanwhile, on March 10, WayV returned with the release of their 3rd mini album 'Kick Back' and their title track of the same name. It seems that WayV will begin promoting their comeback in Korea soon; however, due to the fact that Winwin and Lucas are still under quarantine, the group will inevitably have to carry out some of their schedules as 5-members. However, fans can still catch the 7-member performance version of WayV's "Kick Back" on this week's 'M! Countdown', as the group pre-recorded the stage prior to Winwin and Lucas's departure.
