“My second chance in life is when you joined the team,” Several times BTS members thanked Jungkook for joining BTS

BTS members had many times expressed their appreciation and gratefulness that Jungkook chose to join Big Hit Entertainment, instead of the other 6 companies that wanted him. As the main vocalist, center, lead dancer, sub-rapper, who also contributes as composer, producer, and writer of BTS songs and OSTs, Jungkook is undoubtedly an important part and centerpiece of BTS performances and discographies.

Listed here are 6 times BTS expressed their appreciation towards Jungkook for joining and staying in BTS, as well as how important Jungkook's roles, talents, and contributions to the group's success:

1. When RM said that his first chance in life was when he received the call to audition for Big Hit Entertainment, and his second chance was when Jungkook joined the team.

2. V's message to Jungkook: "Thank you so much for donating your amazing talents to BTS not using for other places. I think, because of you our group could come up this far."

3. When RM said, "If we don't have Jungkook, it's a lot of damage. It's the same for every one of the seven members, but Jungkook is our main vocalist, and he's in an important position at the center of the acts. He has a lot of parts, there is no replacement for Jungkook."

4. In "Goodbye 2020 FESTA," RM and J-hope thanked Jungkook for always staying with BTS during good and bad times.

RM: “Jungkook-sshi, thank you for choosing to stay by our side when times were exhausting.”

J-hope: “Jungkook-ah...our Jungkookie...[....] Thank you for always being together with us!!”

5. In a letter he wrote in Malta, Jin thanked Jungkook for "being the teacher and energy of the team." In the letter, Jin also expressed his love and admiration towards the youngest member and praised all of Jungkook’s good qualities. 

6. During the 5th muster in Busan, RM said in front of thousands of ARMY, “Jungkook, without you, there would be no BTS."
