BTS Jungkook's solo song 'Euphoria' just set another huge record.

'Euphoria' is recently announced to have sold over 500,000 units in the United States, becomes the first K-pop male idol's solo song and the first BTS solo song to achieve this feat.

'Euphoria' is now officially the best-selling K-pop male idol's solo song and BTS solo song in the United States. With 500,000 units sold in the U.S., 'Euphoria' is now eligible for the Gold certificate by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It is the first K-pop male idol solo song and the first BTS solo song to achieve this milestone. 

The fact that 'Euphoria' is just a B-side and doesn't even have an official MV makes this achievement even more impressive. According to Billboard K-pop columnist Jeff Benjamin, 'Euphoria' would have probably charted on Billboard Hot 100 if it had an official MV. It was #5 on bubbling under Hot 100, the highest-charting BTS solo song from the 'Love Yourself' era. 

For the record, 'Euphoria' is the first BTS solo song to be sold over 200,000, 300,000, 400,000, and 500,000 units in the U.S.

'Euphoria' is the most streamed BTS solo song and 3rd most-streamed K-pop solo song overall, after Jennie's 'Solo' and Psy's 'Gangnam Style.' It is also the longest-charting K-pop solo song on Billboard World Digital Song Sales (57 weeks) and the first K-pop solo song to spend a full year on the chart. Jungkook's other solo song, 'My Time,' had also spent a full year on the chart, giving Jungkook the impressive record of the first and only K-pop idol to have 2 solo songs charting a full year on Billboard World Digital Song Sales.

To celebrate 'Euphoria' surpassing 500,000 unit sales in the United States, fans trended #GoldenEuphoria500K and "CONGRATULATIONS JUNGKOOK" on Twitter; both keywords were trending worldwide at #5 and #6 respectively. 

Producer of 'Euphoria,' DJ Swivel posted on Twitter congratulating Jungkook for this huge achievement, saying, "Jungkook’s a legend. Periodtttttttt."
