BTS Jimin’s solo song Filter once again dominated the K-pop music charts as it is named to be the highest-ranking BTS solo song of 2020 by Genius Korea.

On December 19, Genius Korea released its #GeniusCharts on Twitter. Among others, Genius Korea ranked the Top 5 songs of 2020 of the biggest K-pop groups including the world’s best boy group and Grammy-nominated BTS.

According to Genius Korea, the Top 5 songs by BTS of 2020 are:

1. 1 - Dynamite
2. 2 - ON
3. 3 - Life Goes On
4. 4 - Black Swan
5. 5 - Filter

It is amusing that Filter, an unpromoted B-side track, not only made it to the list of most popular songs in Korea but also ranked the highest among all other BTS’s solo songs.

Genius likewise announced that Filter also landed at #20 most popular among all K-pop songs in 2020 in Genius Korea and went to say that the song follows Jimin’s exploration of character and identity.

Spotify is currently displaying lyrics from Genius for certain tracks and allowing users to watch annotated lyrics by Genius for songs while people listen to them on Spotify. Genius is also known for its “Behind the Lyrics” which gives listeners access to what the song is all about. Lately, Genius released its “Behind the Lyrics” for BTS’s latest single “Life Goes On.”
