Fans start a project to find a new company for HINAPIA
HINAPIA fans have started a project on finding the group a new home.
Following the disbandment news of HINAPIA on August 21, fans have started a project on finding the members a new company to adopt the group and re-debut them. A hashtag related to this project "#RebootHINAPIA" is currently trending on Twitter by the fans of HINAPIA, namely UBY.
In this re-debut project, fans have mentioned several Korean entertainment companies that might satisfy the dream of the fans, including rrr Entertainment (home to Yubin of Wonder Girls), P Nation (home to PSY, Hyuna, Jessi etc.), MakeUs Entertainment (home to Sunmi), KQ Entertainment (home to ATEEZ) and Beat Interactive (home to A.C.E). In conjunction with the project, the fans will be mass e-mailing to the companies mentioned in order to arouse interest in signing the HINAPIA members.
A petition is also made by fans for the purpose of showing the number of people that are supportive of the project. The petition has currently reached 1,000 signatures within 13 hours after its launch. Fans are expecting a great success and a dream comes true from the project.
HINAPIA debuted with their single "Drip" under OSR Entertainment in November 2019.
As nice as this project is, yubin just founded her company. I really don't think she could sign and pay for a whole girlgroup... and imagine the spam she is getting now with the small amount of people that work there...I Still hope someone else signs them, but let's accept the truth: 2020 is bad for all companies right now
