Kpop fans promise to not post fancams or promote their favs in honor of Black Lives Matter

The world is currently battling 2 pandemics, Covid 19 being one, and Racism being another

People all over the United States and even all over the world are protesting against the unjustified harm and murders towards Black People and double standards towards white people who get treated better for doing far worse, all by law enforcement

Many cases have led to this movement, with the George Floyd incident being the most notable trigger for this, considering he was murdered by police for charges he was innocent from, all due to a police officer named  Derek Chauvin, who kneeled on Floyd’s neck despite him screaming that he couldn’t breath for 8 minutes straight

People all over are protesting against this injustice of a racist law system in the country. Those black and non black are fighting for the support of the movement

Many Kpop fans have vowed that in honor of the black lives matter movement and those who have passed away due to prejudice police brutality, they will take a break and/or stop promoting their favs

Please show your support for the #BlackLivesMatter movement

I've already seen fancams with the black lives matter hash tags. The little shits that spam fancams would try to get the favs MV's played at their grandma's funerals if they could.

Not posting fancams isn't much of a sacrifice as it is an act of "slacktivism" and it's not even very effective because people are still posting fancams anyway.

It would be more productive if kpop fans donated money to legal defense funds in America for arrested protesters because the cops are arresting people arbitrarily in many cases. If you can afford to donate in a collective effort buy expensive birthday gifts for a Korean idol, you can afford to donate in the fight against police brutality.
