The fake manager who cheated hundreds of millions of won from parents of a girl - who aspired to be an actress - by saying that he once trained Jun Ji Hyun and Gong Yoo - was sentenced to prison.

According to the exclusive news reported by MBN News on August 5, Mr. Kim, who was originally the road manager of a famous artist management company, deliberately approached the family of a girl who desires to become an actress when finding out that this is a wealthy family.

Although Kim had no experience other than driving for the artists, he cheated on the aforementioned family's parents by telling a lie that once raised Jun Ji Hyun, Gong Yoo, Jo In Sung, or Hwang Jung Min, and a year later began to take money from them.

MBN revealed, “During 3 years, with the excuse of supporting the daughter to act in TV dramas, Kim secretly embezzled 620 million won to use for his personal businesses such as living expenses and his debts. However, the daughter with the acting dream wasn’t cast in any TV drama. Finally, Kim was trialed for fraud.”

The court made the criticism, "The nature of the defendant's offense is quite serious. In addition, the defendant only returned 70 million won in the total amount so the damage was not completely recovered." However, although Kim's act of fraudulence deserves being punished, after considering the fact that the defendant made an agreement with the victim, Mr. Kim received a sentence of 2 years in prison and 4 years of probation.
