At The 2019 M2 X Genie Music Awards, BTS managed to win 6 trophies in total. Although, they didn't attend the music awards on August 1, 2019 which was held at Olympic Gymnastic Arena in Seoul. 

BTS managed to win two of the night’s Daesangs (grand prizes) - Top Artist award, Top Content award - along with other four trophies - Performing Artist Male award, Global Popularity award, Genie Music Popularity award, and Male Group award. 

BTS also sent in videos of their acceptance speech for some of the awards.

Jungkook said, “We’ve received the Top Artist award and the M2 The Top Content award from the 2019 MGMA thanks to our ARMY. We think of these awards as thanks to the love you give us. We’ll keep going forward using this strength. ARMY, we really thank you so much and we love you.”

Jin commented, “We’re really grateful to the many unseen people who work hard for us. To the Big Hit staff, Bang Shi Hyuk, and the BTS members next to me, I want to say I’m really grateful and I love you. I love you!”

Leader RM added, “We thank the fans all over the world who listen to BTS’s music. We’ll keep conveying our message through our music and being a good influence.”
