As an Australian ARMY, hearing BTS on tour makes me desperate for them to come to Australia. I have been watching a YouTube video titled "Why BTS postponed visit to Australia" This is a assumption onto WHY.
So this is a very talked discussion that i'm going to talk about as for freedom of speech I am going to put my opinions out there.
So this has happened not so long ago that made Australian and maybe international ARMY into outrage against Channel 9 show 20 to one. Just briefly, Basically they had an episode of Global Crazes and BTS was ranked 18 which i wish for a higher rank, but it foreshadowed for what was coming. BTS was basically negatively put out there and received a lot of prejudice and discriminatory comments such as "boyband that can heal the rift between north and south Korea." "South Korean one direction" "With only one member who can speak english" etc. ARMY's sent the channel letters and a lot of comments hashtagging "channel9apologiseBTS" Channel 9 has apologised without a valid reason, this could be a reason why BTS is not coming to Australia as it may have put a bad image and probably found it worthless. I'm honestly appalled of how they had the audacity to say some mean things, they have literally ruined an opportunity to showcase how much we love BTS. Now i really don't wanna put it out there but, when Blackpink came to sydney and had their concert the next day they were on the news for a bad reason, cause some dumb person decided to bring drugs into the concert and was arrested, these kind of things are going to negatively impact the group and company's decision to come to Australia.
Warning: this is a assumption to why i think BTS isn't coming to Australia, there could be other reasons maybe because they aren't offered to come and hold concerts in venues but who really knows, the lines that i wrote of what the show said about the band maybe not word for word but i just want you to get the idea, this is an issue we need to resolve even though channel 9 has received hate, but we need to make a point and put it out there of the trouble it has really put out there. Please don't put hate on me, this is my opinion i'm ok with disagreement.
