TWICE Sold 630,000+ Copies in 2 Weeks with Back-to-Back Releases

When it comes to albums sales, TWICE is truly a force to be reckoned with. The Asia's One Top Girl Group reportedly sold a total of 638,064 copies injust 2 weeks.
According to Billboard Japan, Happy Happy sold a total of 349,562 while Breakthrough sold 288,502 copies. What made this achievement even more amazing is that Happy Happy and Breakthrough were released just one week apart.
TWICE solidifies their popularity and sales prowess in Japan as they still hold the most number of Japanese singles released by a Kpop girl group with the highest first week sales according to Oricon Chart.
1. TWICE Candy Pop — 265,643 2. TWICE Wake Me Up — 262,567 3. TWICE HAPPY HAPPY — 247,006 4. TWICE Breakthrough — 229,313 5. IZ*ONE Suki To Iwasetai — 221,640
Furthermore, TWICE's impact was very evident in their recently held hi-touch event in Japan as incredibly massive crowd of fans flocked the merchandise booths.
