Police say no plans to investigate Super Junior's Kangin for alleged connection to Jung Joon Young's controversial chatroom

AKP STAFF

Police have stated there are no plans to investigate Super Junior's Kangin for his alleged connection to Jung Joon Young's controversial chatroom.

Previous reports revealed suspicions linked Kangin to Jung Joon Young's chatroom, where illegally filmed hidden camera footage was shared, as they were castmates in the 2016 JTBC reality series 'Hitmaker'. However, Label SJ has already come out to deny the allegations, adding Kangin will undergo questioning if summoned.

However on April 3, a representative from the Seoul Regional Police Agency told media outlets, "We have not investigated Kangin for the related controversy, and there are no plans to investigate him."

Stay tuned for updates.
