Friday, March 8, 2019 marks International Women's Day!

One of the representative female soloists of the current K-Pop scene, Sunmi partnered up with Apple Music to curate a special, featured playlist of some of her favorite female artists and their songs, titled 'Friday Feeling'!

The playlist, full of "Female empowerment anthems to kickstart International Women's Day", features Sunmi's very own "Noir", as well as female artists from various cultures and languages.

Fantastic, as she is.

SO happy to have caught her show last night in LA - I was blown away not only by her performing, but her trippy/weird videos that she played in between sections (so she and the backup dancers could change costumes) were VERY very interesting. And to hear her sing 10cc's I'm Not In Love? Woahhhh......... lady has definite musical chops and is interested in so many other genres and styles and, like, just....... <i>stuff</i>.
Plus seeing her get so choked up at how everyone in the audience was enjoying themselves and making her feel loved....

She mentioned to the crowd that she's been working on her first solo album and it should be ready in "June, July,.... August maybe? I'll come back again soon, I promise!"
We'll hold you to that one, lady.
