SEVENTEEN’s DK, JYJ’s Kim Junsu and musical actor Kai have been cast as Arthur.
Kai is best known in musical theatre and has starred in Korean productions of A Tale of Two Cities, The Three Musketeers and Phantom.
Kim Junsu worked in musicals like Mozart!, Elisabeth and Death note and has won many awards.
Seventeen’s DK is the main vocalist of his group and is the first member to play in a musical.
The musical Xcalibur is the story of Arthur King, his sword Xcalibur, and legendary heroes who will reveal the age of darkness. King Arthur is a mythical figure known as a hero who defended the ancient England, confused by the Saxon invasion. His legend still has a great influence on popular culture and is reproduced in various forms such as movies, dramas and games. The musical is set to premiere on June 15.
The cast includes: Uhm Ki Joon, Lee Ji Hoon, Kim So Hyang, Lee Sang Joon, Min Kyung Ah, Park Kang Hyun, Shin Young Sook,Jang Eun Ah, Kim Joon Hyun, Son Jun-Ho, Park Chul Ho and Jo Won Hee.
