Fake Gary account attempts to scam fans

A fake Gary account has popped up on Instagram.

The fake account used an ID that Gary used to use. The profile also linked to Gary's official YouTube and Twitter accounts in attempts to fool fans even more. Then, the account tried to scam fans by claiming to have a fanmeeting. Fans were required to pay 30,000 KRW (approximately 27 USD) to a bank account listed. However, the fan meeting was scheduled for 'February 31st', a date that does not exist.

Thankfully, the account seems to have since then been removed.
