BTOB's Minhyuk held his official showcase for his 1st solo album 'HUTAZONE' this January 15 at the Yes24 Live Hall!

During this showcase, Minhyuk performed his track "You Too? Me Too!" feat. (G)I-DLE's Soyeon, in addition to his double title tracks "YA" and "Tonight (With Melody)". 

On his Cube Entertainment label hoobae's feature, Minhyuk commented, "It was my first time working with a female rapper. I wrote the song with the rap feature artist being Soyeon in mind. I felt that it would be complete if [Soyeon] added a tasteful rap. I am extremely satisfied with the results. Thanks, Soyeon!"

The idol also discussed his image transformation for his solo debut, with, "I have a strong image of being 'Sweet' in the team, so I tried to show a contrasting side in this album. I wanted to give the vibe of a 'celebrity', so I pierced my ears for the first time in 30 years, and bleached my hair."

Finally, about the meaning of his album name 'HUTAZONE', Minhyuk shared, "HUTA (虛打) is a Chinese expression, meaning 'to hit in midair'. Baseball players practice countless times, swinging their bats in midair. The album name means that I will build myself up just as diligently. And to express that I want to show my personal universe, it is called 'HUTA(虛打)ZONE'."
