San E confronts extreme feminists and recent public backlash in new self-released song 'Oong Ang Oong'

San E has returned with another surprise self-released song addressing his thoughts on feminism.

The track, entitled "Oong Ang Oong," was released through his official YouTube channel less than a day after his performance at Brand New Music's end-of-the-year concert. During his set, the rapper received 'boo's and backlash from the audience, including one concertgoer throwing a toy pig at him from the crowd, due to anger over his previous releases surrounding thoughts on feminism.

The new song is aimed at extreme feminists, particularly those in Korean activist groups like WOMAD and Megalia, who he compares to America's Klu Klux Klan. The hook of the song taunts the backlash he has been receiving, comparing it to 'oong ang oong'-sounding gibberish.

"Megalia is evil in society / Real women know this / They're all mental," he raps during one part of the song, attempting to shift the blame of his recent controversy. "They curse even their own dads / All men are criminalized."

You can listen to San E's "Oong Ang Oong" above.

im having mixed feelings about this ,probably those groups like WOMAD and Megalia are not good groups but:

"They're all mental," he raps during one part of the song, attempting to shift the blame of his recent controversy. "They curse even their own dads / All men are criminalized."

he is saying they are all mental so i dk how to feel about this , i agree that sometimes men get criminalized. but just like sometimes woman are victims some guys can be victims too esp celebrity guys but the way he talked about this issue its like he didnt know how to talk about it?? he could have talked about the problem about why some Korean feminist groups are aggressive or show the point of view of some harsh things that happened to guys without accusing all feminists that they are cursing at their dads or that "all" men are criminalized" there is no "all" dont make it look like men are always victims

i also hope korean women instead of bashing him they should check about those harsh feminists groups too ,like i said its good to talk about extreme people but also its important to know about how to talk about it

We all know rappers likes to talk nicely about women, definitively, hmm, since ever, yes I'm sure.

A rapper talking bad about all women? that's pretty shocking, never happened right? gosh. Wow, much shocked.

not to mention, that he never talked bad about all women...but these braindamaged manhating feminazis(nothing to do with feminists!) dont get it, that its just about them here...after he said some facts, that they cant handle.

sane women know he is right and still cheer him on.

I admit I'm fascinated to see how far he'll double down on this thing. It won't end well for him, feminism is a sacred cow these days. You can't say anything critical about it without being steamrolled by hysterical vigilantes and tragic white-knight types.

Look how mad people are getting about this article, just because the guy thinks some of the assertions and demands of modern feminists are bullshit. Just try to convince yourselves this doesn't prove his point...

I don't think anyone in this comment section is mad at him for going after those groups like WOMAD. The problem is that his intentions don't seem to be what he is implying that they are. If he really cared so much, then why not highlight more important issues for women in S.K. instead of focusing on these groups. And if he is going to comment on radical feminists then why not start at the root of the problem and talk about why some Korean feminist groups are so aggressive?? These groups aggressiveness are direct products of Koreas traditional views of women that still are very prevalent in their society. As long as guys like San-e are around there's going to be a WOMAD.
