C-Jes Entertainment, home to JYJ & more, issues renewed warning of strict legal action against malicious rumors

misc.

On December 5, C-Jes Entertainment issued an official statement of warning against the continued spread of malicious rumors and content via SNS platforms like Twitter, online galleries, etc.

The label stated, "We are constantly monitoring various portal sites and online communities. Furthermore, through reported content sent in via email by fans, we have filed numerous lawsuits against false rumors and malicious slander against our artists. We have notified the public that we plan to protect our artists with strict legal action and no settlements on countless occasions."

"Still, our artists are continuing to suffer from mental damages and defamation of character due to the incessant spread of one-sided slander, profanity, personal attacks, and false rumors on online communities, not to mention, our artists' fans. In order to combat this, we once again stress that we are habitually reporting and filing lawsuits against these attacks, with no exceptions," C-Jes continued.

Additionally, the label warned that "Cyber defamation of character" is a real violation of the law punishable by court, and that in the case of a lawsuit, investigators hold the right to search the whereabouts of the assailant through IP address locations. Finally, C-Jes Entertainment asked fans for their continued cooperation in protecting their artists.

Meanwhile, C-Jes is home to artists such as JYJ, Ryu Joon Yeol, Gummy, Ra Mi Ran, Park Sung Woong, and more.

"due to the incessant spread of one-sided slander,"

Well, they can join in and slander the fans so that it'll be two -sided slander.

Like CJES said... this time they are going to publish updates of these crimes , their contents and make public the photo images of the persons. Good job. High time to address this issue head on. And now with internaitonal cyber crime unit going full swing next year as their project.. we will see more the actual faces of international malicious posters.

AKP Users seem to post here about 'kiddy keyboard warriors' at this point. The reality, is that those doing *persistent* Cyber Slander activity, are usually ADULT MALES. Who KNOW that what they are doing it is ILLEGAL in S.KOREA under LAW there. And the S.KOREA POLICE have a 'Special Cyber Unit' that is clever about finding the IP numbers and locating these offenders. Mostly they do NOT do JAIL TIME. They pay a MONEY FINE and do COMMUNITY SERVICE work. And get to say "SORRY" in COURT to a JUDGE ... ;) ... (Trolling) ... Maybe they play the "SORRY SORRY" song by SUPER JUNIOR in the COURT ROOM ??? ... ;) ... But some have actually been put in JAIL for awhile ; the BAD and persistent offenders.
