B1A4 to promote as three members

B1A4 will be promoting as a three-member group for the time being, WM Entertainment has confirmed in a statement released on November 16.

The agency revealed that they met with members Jinyoung and Baro, who joined other agencies earlier this year, to discuss the group's future course of action, and it was decided that it would be difficult for B1A4 to promote as five right now. However, they are not ruling out the possibility of the group promoting as five members again in the future.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung and Baro will remain signed to LINK8 Entertainment and HODU&U Entertainment, respectively.

I like the fact that the agency kept an open mind about having the two of them still be part of B1A4. Not all companies will do that. The big question that isn't answered here at least for me was if the reason they are not promoting with B1A4 is their own personal choice or did their new companies want them to promote solo more first to get established with their company. It's not unreasonable if they did but it's just one of those things I'm curious about since members that leave their companies but stay with their groups are kind of rare. I'm always wanting to know how they work the logistics of it all out.
