Super Junior's Leeteuk has apologized for a misunderstanding involving Momoland's Yeonwoo.
On October 5, reports stated Leeteuk had sent an Instagram direct message that stated "Hey, Yeonwoo" to an apparent fan page dedicated to the Momoland member.
The Super Junior member later cleared up rumors surrounding his DM, explaining, "I just wanted to send a message of support to a hoobae who's always working hard on broadcasts. This time in particular for the '2018 Asia Song Festival'. It's my fault. I'm really sorry Yeonwoo. I'd like to apologize to the fans who were surprised by my sudden DM. #called out Yeonwoo #old person."
Leeteuk hosted the '2018 Asia Song Festival' alongside Momoland's Yeonwoo and Nancy on the 3rd.
