Simon D made his first public appearance since the cursing controversy.
On October 11, Simon D performed at the Hanyang University campus festival. The rapper delivered sincere apologizes on stage, stating, "Hello, first of all, I want to say I'm sorry. I'm sorry for drinking and cursing."
He continued, "I was cursing at the baseless malicious commenters. It was absolutely not geared towards the people who listen to my music," and said, "I'll quit drinking for a while and become a nice Ki Seok."
Simon D once again apologized, stating, "If you were uncomfortable watching my live (Instagram) broadcast then I want to say I'm sorry. Please do not misunderstand." He lastly said, "I will control my cursing and drinking and live with more caution from now on. I'm sorry."
The audience showed support for the rapper, chanting, "It's okay."
