On October 6, representatives of actor Jung Woo Sung issued a sharp warning to fans regarding fake SNS activity.�
It seems that SNS crimes consisting of individuals pretending to be certain figures on SNS, then approaching others for the purpose of scamming or meeting up in person, are increasing in Korea.�
Jung Woo Sung's representatives wrote via the actor's official fanclub website, "There was an occurrence of an individual posing as Jung Woo Sung via SNS and sending private messages, but please be mindful that Jung Woo Sung only shares public posts on SNS in order to communicate with fans. He never contacts fans directly. The label and the fanclub are currently monitoring for suspicious and false SNS activity, so please report any similar cases of additional victims."�
