Bestselling Korean "feminist" novel 'Kim Ji Young, Born 1982' written by Jo Nam Joo is being adapted into a live film!

On September 12, the movie's production company stated, "Actress Jung Yoo Mi has been cast as a typical woman anyone could compare to, but also a woman whose life cannot simply deemed ordinary - Kim Ji Young."
The film adaptation of 'Kim Ji Young, Born 1982' will tell the story of Kim Ji Young, who one day begins acting as different figures in her life including her mother, her older sister, and more. Directed by rising rookie director Kim Do Young, 'Kim Ji Young, Born 1982' is slated to begin filming early next year.
