Seo In Young reflected on her cursing controversy.
On August 1, Seo In Young had an interview with Xports News in light of her new single "Close Your Eyes".
The singer has been on a hiatus since her cursing controversy in January 2017. Seo In Young shared she's been taking a time of reflection ever since, and stated, "I have never blamed anyone or wondered, 'Why did this video get leaked?' Honestly, it's my wrongdoings so I believed I had to receive punishment. So I didn't say anything and got my punishment."

She continued, "I'm not a top star, and I'm the type who have to do things right. I also favor a comfortable work environment I've worked with my peers and staff members for a long time. I was comfortable and acted myself instead of thinking I'm a celebrity. It's my fault and embarrassment how I failed to hold it in and yelled loudly in front of others."
Meanwhile, Seo In Young's new single is set to release on August 2.
