Kaeun's results on 'Produce 48' is putting many into shock.
On August 31, Mnet aired the final episode of the idol competition show. The top 12 trainees debuting in the new girl group IZONE has been announced. Similar to the last season, the final rankings are leading to questions on fairness, especially with Kaeun's elimination.
The After School member placed 14th in the final round. In the previous episodes, Kaeun has impressed viewers with her outstanding performance, and at one point, even placed #1 in the rankings. With this in mind, netizens are baffled at Kaeun's unexpected elimination.
Many are also comparing her loss to NU'EST Jonghyun's situation on 'Produce 101' season 2. Last year, netizens became angry after Jonghyun failed to debut in Wanna One despite showing outstanding leadership and professionalism during the entire competition.
Currently, Kaeun's elimination is creating much buzz on the web. In fact, Kaeun has topped real-time search engines.
