Popular Vietnamese boy group MONSTAR is receiving criticism for copying WINNER.
On July 29, MONSTAR released the special MV for "Hey Girl" in celebration of their 2nd debut anniversary. The celebratory release has unfortunately become a controversial topic among fans due to its similarities to WINNER's MVs.

Fans claim the MV for "Hey Girl" is a compilation of WINNER's MVs for "Everyday", "Love Me Love Me", and "Island".
As you can see in the comparison screenshots below, multiple scenes took on the same angle and concept.
Comments stated, "This is obviously plagiarism. There's no authenticity in MONSTAR's MV", "Copy & Paste", "It's like the exact same", "This is ridiculous. They should be ashamed."
