Korean-Nigerian model Han Hyun Min talked about his nationality.
On the July 16 airing of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', Han Hyun Min joined as the guest. He introduced himself with the words, "This is model Han Hyun Min; the guy who loves Korean food."
He also shared, "I'm supposed to have dual citizenship but my mom got lazy and didn't register my birth in Nigeria. I am supposed to choose one nationality when I officially become an adult but Korea already decided for me. I've also gone by my mother's last name."
He added, "I've never been to Nigeria. I've become interested in it lately though, so I want to go one day."
Han Hyun Min also talked about his father, saying, "My father is studying Korean lately. I'm also studying English. We have a hard time communicating. My father's an English teacher but I don't think you should learn from a family member. His pronunciation is not my style so I didn't like English and I only use Korean so I didn't feel the need to learn English. But I kind of regretted not learning English after I started modeling."
