Shinhwa's Eric picked BTS as the hoobaes�who caught his attention.

On May 19, the second episode of JTBC's 'Idol Room' aired featuring veteran group Shinhwa. The MCs asked, "In the past, Eric mentioned how he wishes to compete against the hottest hoobaes. Which hoobae(s) would you like to compete against right now?"
Eric answered, "I think I said that when we made a comeback after 4 years of hiatus." Junjin added, "Rather than calling someone out, I believe he said that to signify that Shinhwa hasn't died yet."
Lastly, Eric picked BTS as the 'hot' hoobae and remarked, "Nowadays, they're (BTS) very active even abroad. Since they're helping Korea shine in foreign countries, they're the hoobaes�I'm very proud of."
