'Produce 48' selects all 48 participants + to begin official filming next month

According to an exclusive report on March 20, Mnet's 'Produce 48' has finished selecting all 48 participants for the upcoming show.

One insider stated, "Filming begins at the beginning of next month, with aims to premiere the show in May."

'Produce 48' is a female trainee survival show combining Korean and Japanese idol trainees, in partnership with Japan's AKB48 franchise. Ahn Joon Young PD of 'Produce 101' season 1 & 2 is in charge of productions yet again.
