Beloved 'Weekly Idol' hosts Jung Hyung Don and Defconn will be leaving the show after 7 years.

On February 22, MBC Every1 announced the host duo known as "Doni" and "Coni" are stepping down, stating, "Jung Hyung Don and Defconn are leaving 'Weekly Idol' after their filming on March 7." The MC duo have been with the show since its premiere in July of 2011 though Jung Hyung Don did take a hiatus due to an anxiety disorder in December of 2015.
Super Junior's Heechul and EXID's Hani filled in for him for a period starting from March of 2016, but it's yet to be revealed whether they're being considered to take over as permanent hosts.
