tvN's 'Taxi' goes on indefinite hiatus

On January 5, various media outlets reported that tvN's variety program 'Taxi' has come to an end.

The program has been discontinued since November 1, just after airing its 501st episode. Many wondered what happened to the program, as there was no particular announcement on the future of the program. Reports claimed that the network quietly decided to cancel the show altogether.

Since the reports, tvN relayed to MBN Star, "'Taxi's season simply ended, rather than the show having ended entirely. There hasn't been any discussion for a new season yet."

'Taxi' aired its very first episode on September 8, 2007, and gained much attention and love through its unique style of interviewing guests. It aired for 10 strong years but abruptly came to an end after just getting past its 500th episode. Do you want to see 'Taxi' return?
