Girls' Generation's Taeyeon expressed her thanks toward listeners after her latest winter title track "This Christmas" topped major domestic music charts on December 12, shortly after release.
Taeyeon said through her label SM Entertainment, "I am happy that so many people listened and liked 'This Christmas', so thank you. It was a long time wish of mine to have a winter album. Because this album is one where I put in ideas passionately while working with such great staff, this #1 is even more rewarding."
She continued, "I filled my winter album with songs meant to deliver happy vibes, and songs meant to comfort cold, irritable feelings of the end of the year. Regardless of the genre, I wanted to deliver those feelings. Please continue to listen to it a lot, and anticipate my musical promotions from here on. Merry Christmas!"
Taeyeon will be performing songs from her winter album 'This Christmas - Winter is Coming' at her year-end concert 'The Magic of Christmas Time', taking place from December 22-24 at Seoul's Kyunghee University.
